what type of snail is the kind that grows in your tank?

There are tiny brown snails that grow off and on in my tanks, i know they get there from water, rocks, plants at pet stores but what i want to know is what species!thanks!

    I think they're called bladder snails. They're small, brown, and have fragile shells. They and their eggs hitch rides on plants.

    Most commonly you'll find ramshorns or pond snails. I've never heard of bladder snails. Malaysian trumpet snails are excellent at eating detrius and will burrow in your substrate helping eliminate anaerobic gas buildup. They're like earthworms in your garden.
