Financial aid probation?
I attended a community college this past semester. I passed all my classes but dropped two and was put on financial aid probation. I was not planning on attending this community college anymore and got accepted into a university. Will I be able to receive financial aid at the university? I would ask the schools, but it's a Friday night, so I'd have to wait until Monday. That's why I asked here.

Yes, you would be able to receive financial aid from the university. When the financial aid office determines whether or not a student is eligible to receive federal financial aid, one of the criteria the school must follow is the student is making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). The SAP standards are both qualitative and quantitative.
The qualitative standard is maintaining a grade point average of 2.0 (unless otherwise specified by your Department). The grade point average is only based on the courses taken at that particular university.
The quantitative standard is passing at least 75% of your classes, grades in which you receive a 'W' count as credits you have attempted but did not pass. However, since you are going to a different school, the university should only transfer in credits which they will accept. They do not transfer in the credits which you have attempted but did not pass; therefore at the university you will start out at 100% completion rate.

Maybe. No school likes offering Fin Aid to so-so students. But that does not necessarily mean that you will not qualify for Pell Grants.
