Accessory navicular syndrome advice?

Has anyone had surgery to remove an accessory navicular? If so would you reccomend it and how long/painful/helpful is it? I'm 16 and have had chronic foot pain for 4 years and my doctor thinks I should look into surgery because long term it could keep coming back. I have really flat feet and a lot of problems that come with them(plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammertoes, posterior tibial tendon dysfunction etc) I'm wondering if I should get the surgery or not. My doctor also said I should look into flat foot surgery a few years from now so if anyone knows any info on that it would be great. Thanks!

I don't think it has anything to do with flatfeet, millions of ppl have that with no probs at all including my cousin and stepdad, its more likely that everything you mentioned pertains to you not wearing shoes when you go out somewhere, especially the plantar

Dont waste your time having an accesory Navicular removed, it will correct none of your problems. Consider actual flat foot surgery which could help you a great deal. You need to get an arch and the only way that will happen is with flat foot surgery. Accesory Navicular surgery would do nothing for your flat foot

Getting a tendon transfer surgery to correct flat feet will not work. You own body will make these new muscles return to the same problem.
