Help with crystalized hand warmer?

I bought a small crystalized hand warmer off thinkgeek.com. I used it once then put it in boiling water to revert to liquid. Once it was a liquid, I put it on a counter to cool off. When I went to check on it it was a solid again. Do I need to click the disc more than just once..twice? Or could it be that the crystals aren't completely liquid and spread? I heated it 7 minutes which seemed like enough. Any ideas why it won't stay liquid?

It needs to cool gradually. Leave it in the water and cool it slowly.

You need to keep the Handwarmer fully-immersed, for a longer period,

Making sure that any crystaline structures, are Not visible.

Also when taking it from the pan of boiling water,

Avoid knocking the pouch on the sides of the pan, which may re-trigger

    the 'heating-process'.

I find putting them on a clean tea-towel and then, simply Do Not move them,

until Cool, any impacts of any kind, can retrigger the ht'g process.

I use them quite a lot, but for a completely different reason, They're Ideal for

putting on Arthritic joints to ease the pain, same with Neck pain, If you know

someone whose a sufferer from arthritic-ailments, Back pain included, I swear

by the Relief, that they can give. Also as very inexpensive substitute, to those,

Plasters, which heat up,and then stick them on the appropriate affected-area,

But unfortunately, they have one particular draw-back,

ie:- In that " they" can only be used Once.

Whilst the 'type' You mention, are completely re-useable. (Hth).
