Which Account Is Best?

Hi, me and my partner are going to start saving for a mortgage deposit in the new year. I'm looking for an account to do this. I was preferably looking for one we could transfer money into, say via direct debit, every month but not able to make any withdrawals for at least a year?

If not, any ideas and suggestions would be grateful. We're intending to deposit £400 a month all together.

    Any large (and some smaller) banks should be able to help you and suggest which of their products is best for what you want. But it may be tricky to find one that doesn't allow withdrawals. It is, after all, your money.
