Prices at pawn shops change very much depending on your area and the local market. You can just check craigslist or ebay and sell it there and you'd make more than the pawn shop would give you.
Also, where are you? Most places offer a lot of assistance from state or local education programs. I just checked with my local community college and all GED classes are offered completely free of charge and the test itself is a $13.00 fee. So you might want to check around and find a cheaper place.

Who is your provider? Or was? Take the phone to them and ask how much they would give you if you wanted to switch to another phone or plan.
Doesn't mean you have to but you will get a MUCH better idea than asking on the web.
Then you'll have to deal with the pawn shop wanting to give you 20 bucks. You might want to go the craigslist route too - as long as the phone isn't stolen you should have no problem selling it, but I would only advertise it for whatever provider it's been used with, sprint, att...(If you sold an att phone to someone who has sprint, the phone won't work - 2 different technologies.)

bravo. if you are willing to give up a prized possession like an iphone to get a ged then you are on the right track to a better life. the only way to tell what they will give you is to ask. there may also be programs in your area to help with the cost of a ged. ask your local unemployment or job connect office or anyone else you can if there is any help for you.

The only way you will find out is go to a pawn shop and ask.
Most pawn shops can give you a loan, that you must pay back w/in 90 days, and if not, then they sell it. Or, could sell it vs pawning it.
My guess would be around 50% max, either way.

Might want to look up under this site. But, you have to remember that what they sell for, vs what they give you, could be MILES apart, since they must make a profit.

depends on who THEY are.....each pawn company has their own set rates on these sort of things. get calling them and find out.
who defines what a "stupid reply" is? if its a stupid question shouldnt it expect a stupid reply? just sayin
on another note, if you are thinking that a GED costs that much, then you havent done much research. i know places you can get it for a few bucks! youre being ripped off.

A used iPhone that's still under contract is worth almost nothing since it has virtually no resale value.

Take it to a pawn shop or sell it on Craig's List - your choice.
