Why all the 'bad press' regarding pedophilia scandals with the Vatican just suddenly stopped?

Probably has to do with 98% of the reported abuses occurring BEFORE 1983. Hardly any reported abuses since then. So pretty much the lawsuits have been settled or rejected and the trials got their guilty or not guilty. Most of the accused priests are dead now and the church no longer allows homosexuals with a sexual inclination to enter the seminary.(basically only homosexuals with no interest in sex, romance, etc. can enter the seminary) almost all of the abuses were on male children which is why Pope John Paul II set the ban on homosexuals receiving ordinations.

The Vatican did political dealings with President Obama who censors the press through the CFR for them.

Because the last Pope was responsible for massive cover ups and he knew it.

Pope Francis had bluntly said.........you get busted.......you're toast....and you *WILL BE* defrocked, after you are ARRESTED.

THATTTTTTT , is the statement people were waiting to hear.

It's a CRIME, and you WILL go to JAIL- ......not "transfer to a new parish, to abuse a Whole new Group of kids. "

Because Pope Francis has made it one of his main agenda points to end it.

They have a Pope that is currently agreeing with them so they will bury any stories that may take away his influence.

Keep in mind as soon as he disagrees with them the stories will resurface with a vengeance.

A socially liberal Pope can do wondrous things.
