How do I remove conduit searc?

This has been asked a lot, but I have a different problem.

As everyone has said, uninstall, uncheck, etc...

I have uninstalled conduit search in control panel, and still it comes up as a homepage for I.E.

To fix it on Chrome I had to uninstall and reinstall chrome completely. I could successfully set my homepage but under Manage Search Engines, conduit search is still an option.

So it's still on my computer. How do I remove it completely?

Update:

Update: I have successfully prevented it from becoming a homepage on I.E. and Chrome, but the fact that is still an available option, meaning it is still on my computer, bothers me. It's like I'm just masking it. In I.E. under manage addons, I can disable it but not remove it. In Chrome, it is removed.

Update 2:

xdowl - now conduit is my default search again

Okay, to get rid of it in Google Chrome is a little complicated.

But to get rid of it in IE is more complicated. Here

is how you can get rid of it i Google Chrome↓

In Google Chrome, how to remove search pest

First go to start, control panel, Programs and features

and see if's there, If it is remove it. Then try this.

Note: First click on the 3 little lines top right side.

    click tools

    click extensions

If it's listed in your extensions, remove, or disable it.

    Next step

    1. Click on the wrench, or 3 little lines icon (upper right corner). Choose Settings.

    2. At On start up: Open a specific page or set of pages.

    3. Click Set pages. if your home page is not there. Type in in.

    4. Next under Search in the same window, click on Manage search engines. Find The search pest and delete it.

(Note) If the X don't show, then it's probably because it's selected as the default search engine. Hover over Google and click default to Make Google your default, then you can delete all the others. There are also other pest, and you can rid them the same way.

Now to get rid of it on IE↓

How to remove the pest on internet explorer

Okay I am going to try to explain how to get rid

of the pest in internet explorer.

    Open Internet explorer

    1. Click on tools

    2. Click manage add-ons (down in the second Block)

    3. Left side (top) click toolbars and extensions.

    4. Highlight and disable bing toolbar.

(if it's there twice disable both)

    5. Click on Search providers

If anything beside Google is set to default highlight

    Google and make Google default.

    highlight and remove all others.

There should be nothing left but Google.

    6. Click on accelerators. If any are there highlight

and remove them. (none here on my computer)

    Restart your computer.
