Maidana, Malignaggi and Porter Have Proven That Khan Is Elite Level?

Khan's only defeats came when he was weight-drained and had poor training camps...similar to Manny Pacquiao and a number of other fighters who have been beaten in the past due to ill-preparation. It probably goes without saying and I'm sure most would agree that Khan would beat both Prescott and Garcia if he was operating at even 70% of his full capability....without the burden of weight-draining and poor training camps to contend with.

Maidana and Malignaggi both beat Broner (although Paulie was robbed) a guy who was already in some people's top ten P4P list but we saw how Khan dominated Malignaggi and beat Maidana clearly after flooring him in the first round...Khan was also able to absorb all of Maidana's shots on his so-called "glass chin" and never went down once. Broner went down twice, I guess you will have to concede now that his chin is nowhere near as good as Khan's, when Khan is in good condition.

Porter beat Alexander and we need to keep in mind that Porter drew with Diaz in their first fight - Khan's last opponent - so really Porter is approximately the same level as Diaz, and a notch below Khan. Alexander of course is even lower down than Porter at this point.

It just goes to show that a properly conditioned Khan..when he isn't weight-drained, is a league above all these boxers named, he has excellent punch resistance, impeccable skills and blisteringly fast hands - when he isn't weight-drained.

The only logical choice now is for Mayweather to step up and face his greatest threat in the division. Perhaps Khan is the only elite level boxer left in the conversation or do you think any other boxers (except perhaps Pacquiao) could be considered anywhere near Khan's level at this point?

Khan has all the aspects of being a great fighter his chin keeps him from being that top 5 p4p guy. It is gonna be interesting to see how he does with Virgil Hunter. His offense made him the great fighter he is and if Hunter can that up and improve his defense ability I think he can have success again.

He might be one of Floyds toughest opponents cause IMO you need speed and footwork to give Floyd trouble and Khan has both.

While I think Khan is an intriguing style match up with Floyd, one which might give him serious problems, you really need to stop hyping Khan and giving false depth to his resume. It's looking like a desperate attempt to justify and market an undesirable fight.

I'm a pac-fan but I must say this is the only floyd fight which I would love to see, because khan has exciting fihting style.

But don't expect it,fraud mayweather ducked khan, when khan was the best in the 140 division.and I don't ecpect him to fight khan in 2014
