Radioactive produce from California?
Why isn't the government warning people about it or monitoring this? Even Japan (the source of this radioactive contamination) is refusing shipments of produce from California due to its high radioactivity, while the US government does nothing to protect its citizens. Also, does anybody know where to get almonds, pistachios, or green grass powders not sourced from California or West Coast?

The claims of radioactive contamination from the Fukajima area of Japan reaching the US West Coast is a lot of hooey (nonsense). Any releases have been so diluted that they are undetectable on the US shore. Japan resists imports in order to protect home industries and farming.
Source(s): Nuclear Engineer. I was sent into the TMI nuclear accident in the US in 1979 to help the recovery. My specialty is Radioactive Waste. The radiation dose to the local environment was so low that it could not be measured. It had to be calculated. My dose, on the inside, was no more than what you would get from 4 dental X-Ray plates (VERY low).
