my 2013 honda crv mpg droped by 23.7 to 22.9 can I leave the eco mode on?
I dont use the eco mode because I drive regular stop & go traffic but now I start to notice that my mpg dropped by 23.7 to 22.9 with no eco mode on my question is why is dropping it & if I leave the eco mode on all the time will it affect my engine or anything any suggestion guys?

The drop in mpg is really not that much. You did not even go down one whole mpg. It probably just has something to do with road/weather conditions or the way you have been driving lately. If you leave eco mode on, your mileage should improve. In city driving, the engine will idle at a lower rpm when you are stopped. The transmission also upshifts sooner when accelerating to keep rpm low. You might see a 2-5 mpg increase if you use eco mode all the time, depending on how you drive and what the road and weather conditions are.
