I'm in love with my religious best friend?

Okay, so I am a girl, and she is a girl, don't support it? Don't bother reading. We we're both going through hard times trying to decide our sexuality, and in the end, I ended up realizing myself when falling in love with her. I told my parents I was interested in boys and girls, yeah. One night when we had gotten into a rather large fight, I admitted my feelings and she had blown them off pretty much. So I went along with it, and we never talked about them for a months time. Finally we we're fighting once more, and it was brought up. She told me I was pushing it on her , so I backed off. Eventually coming across a girl in my school with a similar situation. She talked to me about it, and I would be lying if I said that at one moment in time, I felt something towards her.

So then, when I was chatting with her friend and one night, she texted me in private and told me not to mention our issue. Feeling risky, I told her it didn't matter because I don't feel the same. (Which is a lie) And she went off saying I didn't understand how she felt. She said that she kind of actually liked me and I was trying to force her. It wasn't till then I realized that she wasn't deciding this, because of her religion. She feels she will go to hell for loving her gender and God will hate her. So she is unhappy and wants to kill herself.

Basically I don't know what to do, I don't want to move on. I love her so much and she means so much to me, and i'd be happy if we just stayed friends, as long as she is happy. But what can I do, I can't reassure her in her religion. She is a religious Christian going to a new Christian school. I am an unorthodox Jewish going to a public school. I know absolutely nothing about her religion honestly.
