Ok, well done.. Nope, frankly I'm not jealous that City has one of the best players.. Honestly, they are going way overboard with the spending, but that's their headache.. But, it's not like City will become invincible coz they have some great players.. Granted even Barca has some of the greatest players and won the league, but it may not hold true in the prem as there are many other teams with capable squads too.. Yes, if Mancini cannot win the league with these players, then it would be a big blemish on his managerial tactics.. But honestly, I don't see City as a threat.. Not atleast now.. And the max they will do with this squad maybe get a playoff in the next year CL or group stages qualification.. We all can manage City successfully even now but remember, even last year, they did sign a couple of great players and dint even get to the CL playoffs and Spus did without having half great a squad like City.. So, it's not the spending or the quality squad that matters, it's how well the players can play together to win games.. And yeah, even i am happy with the Utd squad.. If u have a great TEAM rather than great PLAYERS (individual) on the team, it think it's worth the money u have spent.. But if City players cannot work together despite being such HIGH PROFILE PLAYERS, the money goes down the drain.. Edit: MJ, very well said.. *claps*

You are talking about money line wagers and they are far more effective than betting against the spread. Any sports bettor who has been doing it for a year or two steadily will tell you that you will NEVER make any consistent money betting against the spread.

I don't think there's a term for that. You may be thinking of arbitrage betting, where you take advantage of line movements at separate casinos to get a guaranteed win by betting on both sides of the action, which would typically be a small amount.
