There are plenty of places in Florida with cheap housing (at least cheaper than California) where it's warm

Also try the gulf coast of Alabama or Mississippi

or if you have a university degree and are certified as a TEFL teacher, you can try to find English teaching jobs in Thailand that will sponsor you for a visa

The person who answered previously clearly didn't read the question. All of the places "she" listed are NOT for people with limited funds. In other words, unless one is independently wealthy, one can't afford to live in those places.

Now on to your question. Some of the others suggested Florida. Florida may seem cheap at first but once you factor in the low wages most jobs pay, it really isn't that cheap. As for Florida being warm year-round, that's a myth. In fact, a passing cold front can easily cause overnight temperatures to dip into the low 40s and daytime temperatures in the low 60s. To most Floridians, that's cold.

If you don't have money, then you're not moving anywhere. Moving is expensive and you probably can't afford to at this time.

Before you find a place to live, find a job that will allow you to reside on a beach side. Once you find that, then you can move to a beach side.

If it has to be a warm place (assuming year round), check into Florida. Most of Florida has been in the 70's in December and it's just as warm in the evenings.

Florida has many cheaper beach areas. Look in the Ft. Myers and Cape Coral area.

Venice Beach is great for those of us who have a bit of bohemian in the soul.
