Is it possible to learn violin quickly?
I started to play the violin in 4th grade but all through my life I've only concentrated on songs and not the foundation such as beats or finger placement. Is it possible that through all my lessons I haven't learned anything? I've always been concert master and now that I'm in a different setting full of professionals, I realized that I don't know the basics and I'm lost. My sound has also gotten scratchy and my bow is all over the place. I use really little bow and have zero confidence. Miraculously I've been able to play along with the others but how much longer will I last? If anything, I have tons of stamina and I'm willing to practice for hours at a time. Can I do it?

Find a good teacher who will make sure to drill you on the skills you missed.

To answer your question title, no.
You can, however, find a good teacher who is willing (and able) to build up your foundation and brush up on your basics.
I'm sure you can do it, good luck!
