The second one - but you should seriously consider asking a family run jeweler to see their estate collection of rings. You'll get a lot more for the money, and very possibly a better quality setting as well.
THose mall chain stores mark their stuff up astronomically, and the resale price of diamonds is fairly reasonable at the moment. Go to a trusted owner-operated place and see what they can find you - you'll get a nicer ring with nicer stones and a better setting - at a better price.

If you are looking specifically for a diamond ring, then try something better than these. You’ll get amazing design and quality in $4000. Alternatively, you can also try colored gemstones like blue sapphire or ruby. I got this http://www.angara.com/p/pear-blue-sapphire-and-rou... ring as my anniversary present. I love the detailing, finish, stone quality and setting of the ring. This cost even lesser than half the price of the ring you have selected.
You can check more of similar designs or other styles at this store. I trust this store as my engagement ring and wedding band are also from them and my husband and I love the quality of the jewels. You can also try your local jewelers.

Sorry, but neither - though the second is better than the first.
For our 10th anniversary, my husband chose a ring that I would wear with my wedding band and engagement ring, it was a chevron shape.

Both rings are lovely .
However, spending $4,000 at kays is just not right.
Mall stores have a poor standard in stones and higher costs than individual stores.
Take those pictures to an independant local jeweler and see what they can do for you.

The second. Neither are really my style, but I'm not wearing them so it doesn't matter.
