I want to dye some synthetic extensions velvet red. Would you recommend using Kool-Aid or a Sharpie?
I bought some synthetic extensions for $10 and I think the "horse tail" color fade is ugly. I want to dye them a velvet red to match my hair color. I'm dying my hair with Kool-Aid and don't want it to go to waste, yet I don't want the extensions to look like a hot mess. Would you recommend using Kool-Aid or a Sharpie?

Kool-Aid would be better. I've never dyed any hair extensions but I did dye tiny parts of my real hair with Kool-Aid! The color showed up well, but it didn't last very long.

Sharpie doesn't stay in... I would use kool-aid if you're really sure you want to dye your extensions... I've never tried it on extensions though soo I don't know if it would be a good idea or not

I dyed my tips last year with red from kool-aid, but it fades within 2 weeks, you'd have to keep dying it over and over. I'm not sure about sharpie but i've heard it messes up your hair
