Any way to stop getting 1.50 debit charges for purchases?
I am with Lake Shore Bank. It only happens with **some** purchases. Is it a state to state thing? I shop on Amazon.com a LOT and sometimes I get the 1.50 ATM charge other times not.
Bonus question: Could I prevent it by signing up with a different checking account?

Contact your bank and see if it is the merchant or the bank charging you the money, if it is your bank as to switch to an account that does not charge for debit transactions.
