all of the the lower extremity is innervated by the sciatic nerve, though the term "sciatica" typically is used in reference to primarily posterior gluteal, thigh and calf symptoms. the problem is likely neurogenic weakness of the quad femoris (small intestine meridian) caused by upper neck vertebral subluxation. see an hio method chiropractor for correction of the cause.

Yes - it stinks doesn't it? That's a kind of "sciatic" thing.... but I don't think it's really from the sciatic nerve - that's just what some people think. This is a common pain.
Can be psycho-somatic. The only guy who writes about this intelligently is Dr. Sarno - "Divided Mind" - you can get it off of Amazon. It's something to look into if nothing else helps. He says stuff like this is epidemic in the country right now and Billions of wasted dollars are spent on treatments and pills.
