He hasn't texted me back, should I try again?

So this guy and I admitted we liked each other and reconnected and have hooked up twice

He's having a rough time right now with personal issues so I told him I'll be here for him if he wants

I texted him a week ago checking up and got no answer, which is fine he may be a person who wants to be left alone when they have problems

I said hey a few days ago and he didn't answer. I really miss talking to him so should I text again or leave it? He's been on Facebook so he's decent hopefully I just don't want to be annoying but I miss him :(
