Sore spot on left side of throat?

There is a sore spot on my throat that kind of hurts. I'm 24, and the spot is like on the left side of my Adams apple, and can only be touched when I deeply push my finger into it. It began as a minor Discomfort when I would turn my head at a certain angle. I have no symptoms of cold or flu, what could a sore spot on my throat be? Also, sometimes it switches to the right side.

Could be your thyroid, or a swollen lymph node. You might want to get it checked out as that seems unusual.

see an ENT if possible. it could be in the thyroid gland. good idea to have an ultrasound. could also be a muscle. good to rule everything out.
