How can I stop oversleeping?
I've had an oversleeping problem every winter since sixth grade because I can't easily wake up in the dark. I always set two to three alarms that sit across the room. Two of them are on the computer and require me to type a password. However, even though I have to walk across the room, I go straight back to bed. As I'm standing half awake, I acknowledge that I should get ready, but I don't. It compels me more to sleep. I even told my self this morning today that I would not lay back down, but I did because I was really tired. Due to the amount of schoolwork, I'm usually up until 2:00. I'm in 5 extracurriculars and 4 AP classes, so it's hard to get my work done in the evening. I'm most concerned that I'll lose credit for my classes from missing too much school. What do I do?

There are alarm clocks that gradually brighten your room to simulate sunshine. That might help you wake up. You can also try setting the alarm on your cell phone so that it plays energetic music to get you up. You might also consider dropping one of your extracurriculars if it interfers with your academics and sleep.

I had a college apartment mate with the same problem. He would partially disassemble and alarm clock. In order to shut it off, he had to put it back together. By the time he finished, he was awake
Another possibility would be to have one of the clocks (or an additional one) go off in the room of your parents or a sibling. They would be more than happy to get you up.
I cured my son of the problem in just one morning. When he would not get up, I poured a glass of water on him. In addition to waking him, it made the wet bed very uncomfortable. As I said, the "cure" was effected in one morning.

go to the bath room straight away n splash ur face with water.. "
if u manage to follow these instructions for 2-3 days.. ur body will start gettin used to it n u will get back on track :) :)

Your going to have utilize your evening time better. Just do the necessary homework at night. Then get to bed on time. If you do not your wasting your time being late and missing too much school.
