I have a very old club aluminum 2qt sauce pan& need help fixing it.?

This pan is an heirloom and I don't want to stop using it but the wooden handle is swiveling around on the metal shank it is mounted on and presents a danger of burns if the wooden handle is not always twisted tight. Is there any way the handle could be taken off and glued back on the shank? This is a great pan and not replaceable.

Thanks for any ideas.

club aluminum brand remains good stuff from over the years === your best bet is to find a good furniture restorer and see if he will make your repair or make a new wooden handle === you might try some "" J-B WELD "" epoxy type glue at it is heat resistant and once dry it does not let go ---- buy that at your local auto supply store === those guys that are at the auto parts counter are helpful and they will help solve the problem == take the pan with you and ask for ""JB WELD"" advice [[ you cannot go wrong with the counter help or that J-B epoxy ]]
