I'm attracted to this guy...?

Here's the backstory. Ever since a mixed-gender sleepover i had, I've been interested in this guy and maybe having an FWB relationship with him. He's pretty attractive, and he's had sex before and i think he'd know what to do. We're pretty good friends, and I see him everyday at school. The reason for a FWB relationship and not a regular dating relationship is because i think dating is a huge responsibility. You have to maintain dates and make sure you're giving enough time to your partner. It may just be sexual frustration, but i think FWB relationships are easier because you just call up when you feel like it. There's not a lot of fuss. So my question is, how should I go about with the way I'm feeling. I'm pretty outgoing but when it comes to personal issues I get extremely shy. Thanks for the help!
