What can I do with a degree in Biochemistry?

I'm majoring in biochemistry, hoping to go onto med school but what are some careers that are available for my major if I end up not pursuing med school? It might seem ironic but lab jobs don't seem to interest me much.

Honestly, your best bet would probably be to tack on physics courses and go into some sort of bio-medical engineering. That doesn't require med school though you may want to return for a masters or doctorate. Otherwise, you could aslways get your doctorate and teach because professors don't require education degrees.

    Lab monkey

    Bench monkey

    Test tube monkey

You *might* be able to get a job at a microbrewery testing the beers.
