06 Sebring 2.4L-what is the cause for unburned fuel in the catalyic converter causing it to meltinside?

Changed both 02 sensors first, then catalytic converter. New converter melted inside and from what I'm hearing, unburned fuel reaching the converter is the probable cause. What is the cause of the unburned fuel-leaking injector or what?

    any misfire can send unburned fuel into the converter. Bottom line, you fixed the symptoms, not the cause. Cat converters never die on their own. They're always murdered.
