Why do people say illegal immigrants are doing jobs Americans don't want?
They built a new building for my college, almost every single person there was Hispanic. I'm sure they were all earning at least 15 bucks an hour. It was a huge building so there's no way they were getting anything less than that. I couldn't begin to say how many Americans i know, black and white, who would kill for a job like that. I'm sure some were legal but there is no way they all were. How the hell do businesses get away with hiring almost 90% Hispanics??? I don't hate them and I'm not racist but its not fair that they come here and take food out of Americans mouths. People can say "oh your great-grandparents were immigrants" but that was in like 1920 something and they used to ship them here and it was 100% legal. These people weren't shipped here and its not legal for most of them to be here.

Sweetheart, it really is the same thing though you just see it through the perspective that benefits you.
Your grandparents were indeed immigrants and once upon a time they were also not really "from these lands" in the future what your complaining about will also be something from the past .
The reason why I dont care about illegal immigrants is because truthfully when it comes to the whole "land discussion" these lands were of the native Americans and then they were Spanish and Mexican, what the majority of what today is American was previously Mexican. Spanish speaking people were hear before the English speakers, the media and many ignorant people make it seem like they are "the new foreigner wave" coming to America, the fact is that Hispanics were already here prior many of them have already assimilated to the culture a lot of them the white Spaniards that lived in the southern states and Florida are not even considered "Hispanic" nowadays because they are white and speak English like Christina aguilera, Cameron Diaz , Alexis Bledel (as an example) now the main focus of people are the massive immigration and illegal immigration of the mixed-Hispanics (the brown Mexicans) who in all honesty are more native Americans than most of us.
And frankly no one is taking anyone's job away, those who want a job get one, those who want a better education will get it, it all depends on your ambition. If you are not planning to make a difference and contribute in our society well guess what? The government truly doesn't give a F what your skin colour is or if you're 1st generation American or 10th generation American, they want you to contribute for the country and if you don't guess what? Foreigners that want to do it will do it.

wow
" I'm sure some were legal but there is no way they all were" and how did you come to that conclusion had they all been white or black would you question their status as a citizen?
"How the hell do businesses get away with hiring almost 90% Hispanics?" when you own a business you can hire who ever you want. should we restrict how many Hispanics can work within a business at once?
your assuming that these people were illegally in the country if thats the case then they weren't making no 15 dollars an hour which sadly answers your question as to how business can hire so many because they aren't paying them hence no american would want a job getting paid next to nothing .
actually my grandmother is native american

So you can rant and make up statistics, like "they make 15 bucks and hour", of course. How do you know these people are illegal?
