Question about transferring colleges????????????

So it is my first semester at northeastern Illinois University and I was thinking about transfering in the fall of 2014. One of the schools I was thinking of was michigan state. The problem is my goal for the first semester is a 3.1 and I was thinking if I can apply at the end of my 2nd semester. Michigan State is rolling admission but it recommends I apply 6 months before my desired entry. Should I just apply and see what happens or should I not apply yet and wait for my new gap to come in????? THANKS

I would advise you to wait until your new GPA to come in.

I would also review again Michigan State University transfer criteria. Most often they would list the minimum GPA for students transferring from another university on their college website. Additionally, you must have 28 or more credits deemed transferable to MSU.
