can someone help me find good earbuds?

hey so i kind of have a problem. All the in-ear headphones i've used so far stopped working on one side. I figured the reason might be my body's above average earwax production. I was wondering if anyone can reccommend a good pair of earbuds that have the benefits of in-ear headphones, especially the noice cancellation part (when i'm listening in public i don't want to hear people around me and also don't want people to hear my sound)

On-ear-headphones are out of the question really, i need something tiny and portable just like my penis. Just kidding, help would be very much appreciated though.

I like the apple earbuds that come with the iPhone 5s they work great and i have never had a problem with them. And although they come with the new phones i believe you can purchase them separate.

When it comes to audio products you really are going to get what you pay for plain and simple. My new favorite pair of ear buds in recent months has definitely become the Velodyne vPulse which I doubt you have heard of since they have only been out for a year or so. These headphones have great sound quality with excellent bass and they don't compromise on the mid-range or the treble either. CNET.com actually rated them the best in-ear headphone for under $100. As for the noise-cancelling part, they are not active noise-cancelling if that is what you are asking for however they do seal up inside of you ear very well if you use the right size ear tip which will block our a lot of the external background noise. Check 'em out on velodyne.com when you get a chance.
