Why do Con Bots think a Fascist State/Nation has to have a dictator?
You don't need a dictator to become a Fascist/Corporatist state/nation, you just have to be controlled by Corporations.
Most Con Bots will dismiss this link because it is both Bill Moyer and Upworthy. But if you listen to it, You will not hear him say it is one parties fault, but that the reality is still there.
We the people have lost control of our country to CEO's, Board of Directors of corporations, we just get lip service.
According to most scholars of fascism, there are both left and right influences on fascism as a social movement, and fascism, especially once in power, has historically attacked communism, conservatism and parliamentary liberalism, attracting support primarily from the "far right" or "extreme right."
So which party do you see pushing the Fascist Agenda?

You are right, a Fascist country isn't required to have a dictator, although the totalitarian aspect of it all is conducive to power hungry individuals and would probably lead to one. The one thing a Fascist country needs however.......is Fascism.
Your bogyman image of corporations is NOT Fascism. I always hear this near conspiracy theory of "corporations running the country" implying acting as the government, but never any examples. When it comes right down to it corporations can't tell you want to buy, only government can. If they run things, it's by favoritism given to them by government. That's the fault of government, not corporations. Big-government types want to use corporations for it's agenda. They give them favored status for playing-ball. They end up being used by those corporations in return. If anything, this should have you supporting Libertarianism. They want limited government. Limited government is not prone to grand deals with corporations.
Regardless, none of this is Fascism, although control of private business is Statism, an element of Fascism as well as other forms of Socialism. The word Fascism often becomes nothing more than an ugly label to be slapped on things you don't like as so to give it the ugly image you want. What the word really means doesn't matter, only the result.

All definitions of fascism include that it is a dictatorship. Modern fascists love to redefine "fascist" so as to not include themselves, but until the USA has a dictator, the country is not completely fascist.I believe there is huge fascist control of the USA, but it is not a fascist country. I would argue that russia is clearly fascist, and china 90% of the way there

I'm not a con, but I know the different between fascist (which does require a dictator or oligarchy) and corpratist (which is government run by corporation).
Why are you arguing about the wrong meaning of fascist? Instead focus on your underlying concerns about corporate run government.

The definition of Fascism doesn't say it requires a dictator. Stick to the fax, dud.
It's LIBERAL policies that push corporatism. Conservatives, by definition believe in the US constitution ( American conservatives)
NO Corporatism in the constitution Bubba.

How cute, Con Bots.
History shows them to be dictators.
According to most scholars? Name one.

So what's your solution, if not to quit supporting the corporations that are now our rulers?
The USPS is government run, and it loses money, so it's no capitalist threat.
With that, we can topple WalMart in a few days.

If you reduce the size and power of a central government, you won't have to worry abut corporations.
It's odd the left wants to INCREASE the government while bellyaching over corporations.

Well, I was going to ask what the hell a "con bot" is, but I was too distracted by all the gratuitous capitalization.
