Why do you have the religion or why do you lack the believe of religion?

Well as a child when told the story of god and jesus I basically just didn't believe it. Even as a child it seemed too farfetched, it was like an adult was trying to tell me my saturday morning cartoons were real. But instead of X-men and Inspector Gadget the story was retarded.

Also, I went to a school and I learnt some basic science. That was pretty much enough for me to be an atheist.

And why on earth would being raised as an atheist or having some kind of bad experience be the only ways someone would become atheist? There's other reasons, like being educated, being a critical thinker, reading the bible, being raised religious. All other ways it can happen.

Are these really the only two reasons you can think to be an atheist? I am an atheist because I got educated. I was raised Catholic.

Why do I have to have survived a terrible experience to be an atheist? I was atheist long before I survived terrible things. I was raised by religious parents and I just didn't believe.

Religion causes hatred.

It's just a bunch of ridiculousness. Plus, I believe science is way more powerful than believing in whatever others believe in. It makes no sense. And numerous gods for different religions? Stupid. No one is right but religious people believe that they are right and others are wrong which just makes me pissed about people pushing their religions on people. People who believe in god are all meant to be all good and everything but they're just full of hate if you ever try to talk to one they subliminally push their religion on you, secretly in their minds they look down on you
