Survey please answer for my class?

Do you condone animal testing in any way, for medical purposes, cosmetic purposes, etc? If so, why? If not, why not?

Fact : a lot of medicine works because it was first tested on animals...namely lab rats or mice.

If some medicine was put on a shelf and never tested, doctors could not tell you how or if it worked. After many tests, we know how the body normally works at the molecular level, so animal studies are not much needed anymore.

because animals are not so far removed from humans and they are definitely much nobler and kinder. If one takes the time and effort one can actually communicate with them ... and insects too. Those people with pets will generally agree with me.

On this planet there is a tacit agreement among animals and humans to respect each other's right to live and to kill only for necessity and survival. Killing, maiming, and mutilating for profit is the basest and spiritually most disgusting business there can be. This indeed is precisely what war is all about.

I think the use of animals faciltates the need for multiple participants, and that's why it's done. What I would suggest is that people whom have already choosen to violate the sanctity of tranquil cooperation be asked to volunteer.
