What is the easier way to become a Texas resident in my conditions?
I'm a U.S. citizen. Dependent on my parents who live in Mexico. I don't own any properties in Texas but i've leased an apartment. I've been attending to college for 5 semesters paying as out-of-state, same amount of time that I've lived in Texas and the States. I have a Texas I.D. I think my main domicile is my parents' house in Mexico.
I've heard that the easiest way to become a Texas resident is to work for a full year without attending to school. I would like to verify this information and get more details about it. If you know any process, i would really appreciate if you write it down in the answers. Thanks.
