Nikon Coolpix Camera?
My Nikon Coolpix S01 camera said battery is exhausted so I went to plug my charger in and it won't turn on anymore and won't charge at all. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Should I try to send it to Nikon and have them repair it or can I fix it myself?

When you plug the charger in (EH-69P), the charger's LED should flash slowly. If it flashes rapidly, it is not making correct connection (so check the cable). If it is not flashing at all, then it could still be the cable or the charger itself - or even no AC power at the plug you are using.
It typically takes 2 hours for the battery to charge. But if you have deeply discharged the battery or if the camera has not been used for awhile, it may take longer.
When the battery is fully charged, the LED on the charger should turn off.

It might be the problem with your charger or battery and you can check it for repair or try to use other charger to see if Camera functions well. Sometimes, it takes time to turn on and charge the battery when exhausted. But if you still not satisfy then sen to Nikon for repair.
