I have a short boyfriend and have dreams of big guys?
My boyfriend is three inches shorter than me and much shorter than the average male. This doesn't really bother me, I think he's attractive and really cute although I sometimes like to poke fun at his height. However I sometimes (not often) have dreams of some random guys (not someone I know) and they are almost always ridiculously big, like 6'7 tall and really built. I'm wondering if this means that I subconsciously have some cave-woman instinct of wanting a large and "safe" mate and my bf's short stature actually bothers me. I would never leave him of course, I love him and this isn't really an issue. I just think it's weird. What do you guys think?

Dreams are dreams, and most of the time they're completely nonsensical! Like you said, you love your boyfriend and his height isn't an issue. Boom, not weird at all!

I have dated a women who is two inchs taller than me and it didn't bother me, eventually she couldn't handle it and broke up with me. If you truly love your boyfriend, you would accept him for who he is and not let height bother you. I would suggest talking to your boyfriend about this because communication is important in one relationship, do not repress it since it is not healthy. Dreams are from the subconcious mind that are being made up just to be out of reality. Do not get distracted by your dreams, they will hinder your relationship with your boyfriend. Height doesn't matter, listen to your heart and think before you say anything to your boyfriend so you won't offend him
