Places to beat the world record paper airplane throw?
I am thinking about trying to beat the world record paper airplane throw (226 feet), and I am trying to find a place to do it. It should be: indoors, have a TALL ceiling, and be longer than 226 feet! and free... If you guys have any ideas, please let me know!

I remember back when I used to throw paper airplanes a lot, I would stand up behind the bleachers of a football field and would throw them. I would get them well over 100 feet on almost every throw and once I got one to go over the whole entire football field and out onto the street(With Wind) We measured it to be around about 210 feet. I was just about 7 or 8 too... Those were some fond days.... Anyway since you have to be in doors, Why not try a big gymnasium? Or clear out space from a Wal Mart and just tell them your trying to break a Guinness Book Of World Record?
Good Luck.

I would think that an indoor football stadium, hockey rink, or some kind of big theatre would be your best bet. Or you could do what the Mythbusters do when they need big indoor spaces, go to an empty aircraft hanger if you can get permission. This would be pretty much ideal if you could get into one. Good luck!

Clue: telling us where you are and how far you are willing to travel might get some specific suggestions. Don't forget that if there is much ventilation air flow, it will disrupt the flight.
