compulsive tracing with finger?
When lying down to sleep or sitting still for a long period of time I "write" things with my finger on the bed or sofa. Usually song lyrics, my name or phrases. Obviously nothing is ever actually written since I'm using a finger instead of a pen or pencil. A lot of times I don't even realize I'm doing it.
So my question is, is there a name for this? I feel like I can't be the only one who does it and I'm curious as to what it is and if its common

Idk … probably is. I do the same thing. And probably just cos my mind wonders and I have a lot of time to think and enjoy doing it.
