Different Seasons by Stephen King?

I read it and it impressed me immensely! The stories tie into each other in many ways, and into other Stephen King stories as well. Mind you, it's a l-o-n-g read, but well worth it.

It's definitely worth the read. The final story, The Breathing Method, hasn't been adapted (yet) but it's every bit as good as the other three, which are all excellent. The movie adaptations of these stories were all really good as well, but you have nothing to lose by reading them and it would be time well spent. :)

Yes, it is worth reading. Enjoy! Even the stories you think you know, you may find somewhat different from their screen versions.
