Should the warmers subsidise jet fuel?

The lingering con trails from jet planes seems to linger all day and must be reflecting back the suns heat before it warms the planet. This this must more than offset the green house effect. A bit like white wash on the greenhouse glass to prevent overheating.

Perhaps they would support it to lower the prices of the tickets to their climate conferences. However, in general air travel is considered a luxury form of public transportation, and their religion would prefer common people do without that.

Besides, your geoengineering idea could be done without people traveling in the planes.

While it is true that contrails have a cooling effect during the day, they also linger all night and are reflecting some of the heat back to earth. [1]

And in order to offset the increasing accumulation of CO2 in the atmosphere we would have to keep increasing contrails to the point of saturation (and thus subsidies). Even if this was a solution and it is not, I don't see why I should have to pay just so that those who are causing the problem can dump their waste products into the atmosphere. (Surely you'd agree that it would distort the basis of free market capitalism.)
