I've been posting some pretty basic questions but someone keeps reporting them?

today i lost forty points and a few days ago when that same person caused me to lose 60 points I submitted an appeal to Yahoo but I'm not sure how effective that will be. any suggestions?

    You might need to read the rules and see if you are following them. Even basic questions can be violations. Also, there are very few users that have "one strike" capability to remove content. So it is likely that multiple people are reporting you, which makes it more likely that you really are breaking some rules. However, without specific examples, it's impossible to say exactly what the problem might be.

    Just as an example, your latest question is: "America, home of the brave? (I can't tell.)"

    That's not a question; it's a statement. Which means it doesn't follow the rules and may end up being reported, sorry. Questions must be formatted as questions and seek useful knowledge and information.

    Looking at the one you asked after this one I can see why,it is NOT a Q,more a statement.Qs must be asked in Q format & must seek knowledge useful to other members.
