You need to create an M3U playlist file.
The easiest way to do so is by using iTunes.
First, put all of your song files [mp3, m4a] in one folder.
Next, add all the songs to iTunes [Choose "Add Folder" to make it easier].
Create a Playlist by clicking on the + icon [located on the lower-left section].
After creating a playlist, right click on the name of that playlist and choose "Export...".
Save the playlist as an M3U file.
---
You can use this m3u playlist on several phones that support m3u files, as long as the files on that phone has the same location [like C:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\My Music\SongName].
If the device does not recognize the playlist songs, then use Notepad to fix it:
Open Notepad, click "Edit", then "Replace..."
Enter original location of song [example: C:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\My Music\] in the "Find what" field.
Enter the location of the song in the phone [example: E:\Music\] in the "Replace with" field.
Click "Replace All", then save as an m3u file.
Copy that new m3u file to your phone, and open it. The phone will now recognize the songs in the playlist.

You may also download free m3u creator softwares to make it easier [Check links below].
