why has the n.w. missouri football team the name Family on all jerseys today?
I'm watching the football game today 12/21 13 and noticed all the players have the name Family on the jersey were the name of the player should be. Does anyone know the reason for this.

"The word “Family” rested in red letters on the back of the jerseys above the numbers in tribute to former coach Scott Bostwick, who died tragically in 2011 three months before he could serve as head coach in a game."

"We are a family" is part of NW Missouri State's mission statement. So instead of last names and individualism, they opted to all put family as a show of solidarity and team unity.
