You sound like you could be quite young, and impressionable.

THat you haven't developed a strong sense of self yet.

But it is fantastic that you are already aware of yourself enough to notice this.

It takes time, growth and life experiences to develop a strong sense of who YOU are, and the scary thing is that many people never do.

Don't worry, your fine as you are, just keep thinking and wondering about yourself, what you like, what you don't etc, etc. As time moves forward, like a butterfly you will emerge into your own selfhood.

"As the twig is bent the tree is inclined," and the earlier the bending, the more easily is it done.

You cannot dream yourself into a character; you must hammer and forge yourself into one.

  • You may have a personality disorder, which is a mental illness that allows a person to have multiple personalities. You might want to go get that checked out.
