DPRK is run by medieval buffoon. He is dictatorial but there have been better dictators who have had good health policies and who did an iota of good. This guy, all he does is go to Disney land with his girlfriend, shakes hands with Rodman and gets fatter by the day. So was his father.

He murdered a top leader. He frequently issues fake threats to obliterate the US and South Korea. The people are dying. They are killed in open air. Gulags still exist. And the first answer is right- this notjust communism it is an extreme form of Stalinism.

It's not Communism, it's Stalinism, a very different structure.

And they're not leaderless, Kim Jung Un just likes to dominate, and exploit his people, instead of share the wealth.

And don't forget, the US has seen an explosive growth of Tent-Cities the last decade, so it's not like we're doing that much better.

Source(s): Seriously doesn't anyone actually know their different political-structures anymore, we need to RAISE THE BAR.

Communism is not the cause of poverty, bad leadership is. Let's take a careful look at Uganda, Libya, and all the poor countries, why are they so poor?
