Why are contacts not working in Windows 8 Yahoo mail app?
In the Windows 8 Yahoo mail app, the contacts are not working. Previously when composing a mail, I could begin typing the name of one of my contacts in the "to" field and it would provide a matching list to select from.
Or, I could use the "+" sign next to the "to" field and a new window would open with a list of my Yahoo Mail contacts that I could select from.
I noticed yesterday (Saturday, 12/21/2013) that the contacts from the Windows 8 Yahoo mail app are no longer working at all. When typing a name in the "to" field, no matching options are displayed. If I use the "+" sign next to the "to" field, it still opens a "Yahoo! Mail" contacts page, but NO contacts are listed, the page is just empty.
If I login to the web based Yahoo mail from my laptop, I can see all my contacts are still defined.

must be a new issue. same problem just started happening to me tonight (or at least I noticed it tonight).

A scam out of 20x times I won and the 20th time, I responded to see what's the scam. Well they would ask you an enormous amount for courier service saying they cannot it deduct it from your winning so you have to pay first before you get the money.
