What is happening to my Posts?

Every time I answer a question, my post doesn't show up. This has been happening for a little while. I wouldn't bother to take my time answering if I knew the reason. Thanks in advance

some of my post are there but the more recent ones are not posted.

    This post showed up, fine. If you click on "Answers", at the top of this page, do you see text like "You answered a question" listed there?
