Heart Burn problems?

So i had heartburn after i ate KFC (i know, greasy food. Bad.) Anyways, i got heartburn so i took two rollaids and that didnt help. So i layed down on my back and went to bed. After i woke up i was fine but then the heartburn came back. I went to the pool for a few hours and was fine. I came home and the heartburn came back. This time it hurts worse. I have a lump in my throat when i swallow. I read its because of the acid reflux making that part of my throat swell. Now the middle of my chest just simply hurts when i swallow and when i dont swallow?? What the heck is going on? Im really scared.

Additional info: im a 17 year old female, 160 lbs, 5" 7'. I have had heart burn before but not this bad before or even lasted this long!

Any info would help and if possible with a source. Thank you!

    For short term relief try Tums plus a drink of cold water. Avoid overeating. For steady relief try Prilosec O.T.C.

    If this is not getting your symptoms under control, you may need to see a gastroenterologist. I hope you have good insurance. An endoscopy is amazingly expensive for the short time it takes them to do.

    Ginger ale or Tums often helps.

    drink alot of coffee?? this will cause heart burn. drink alot of colas? this will cause heart burn . Smoke cigerettes? they will cause heart burn . DORITOS will cause heart burn... CANOLA OIL is the worst causer of heartburn and kfc chicken is fryed in the crappy oil.. out of all consumable oil products, this crap will KILL YOU GUARRANTEED... its rape seed oil...

    this may be too late but when my cases are as severe as yours , i force myself to barf it up... and its going to burn also...but , your heartburn will slowly settle down after that..

    Have some milk or ice cream to help coat your stomach.
