Should I Donate Towels Swiped From Casino Hotels?

My apartment is so cluttered and overflowing with stuff I don't need, and I'm trying to clean up. I have a lot of clothing that I no longer need, mostly because I'm too fat and they no longer fit, and some items are out of style or I just don't like them. I also gamble a lot and have swiped towels from the casinos' hotel rooms. I realized that I have a lot of bath towels that I don't need. For the most part they are probably in decent enough condition, and I know that Goodwill accepts towels.

I don't really have too much of a problem with what I did, because the casinos are a bunch of crooks anyway. I'm not talking about the machines, they are legitimate, and I'm not complaining about losing. But they frequently have poorly worded promotions and don't award what they promise, change the rules after the fact, charge fees on so called complimentary rooms that they try to lump in as taxes where they pocket the money themselves, and many other unscrupulous practices that have cost me money in the past.

While I don't have that much of a problem with what I did (and I would never take towels from a hotel that is not part of a casino), I'm not sure I should donate what could be considered "stolen property" to a charity and have them sell it to customers. On the other hand, I'd hate to be wasteful and throw them away. My other thought was that instead of donating the towels to Goodwill, I can donate them to the Salvation Army. They are an immoral organization that accepts government funding and uses it to try to convert people to Christianity, which is illegal and unconstitutional. So it isn't like having them accept and sell stolen towels really goes against their values.

Update:

Richard, Goodwill accepts towels, see link: http://www.goodwillsolac.org/Donate/WhatWeAccept/t... I would never donate underwear, that's just disgusting. I do have some socks that I didn't like that were either unused or used once, but I will call to ask about that first.

Update 2:

I think both answers missed the point of my question. Me taking towels from a casino is extremely minor in the whole scheme of things, but technically it's still stealing. Goodwill accepts towels, and they are in fairly good condition, so that isn't relevant. What they write on the receipt isn't an issue either - they write down the number of bags, but I'm keeping my own list for tax purposes. I don't have a problem with what I did. I put this question under "Law

The Casinos had no use for used towels. Donate them, thrift store don't issue official receipts.

I would draw the line at underwear and towels. Give them away as pet towels? So you stole! What else did you do at the Casinos?
