Yule Log buttercream alternative?
This year for Christmas eve dessert I wanted to try and make a yule log cake. I have a nice looking recipe but the only problem is that the frosting calls fro 2 cups powdered sugar for the filling and so does the buttercream outer frosting.
I'm okay with the filling being sweet but the thought of it with buttercream makes me shudder. Does anyone know of another chocolaty frosting I could use instead of buttercream?

Some Greek yogurt has the consistency of cream cheese. Add sugar or stevia and vanilla and cocoa. That's what I would suggest--never did it.
