If someone did something horrible to you and you met another person who did exact same thing except...?

...to someone else but then this person made it up to you. Would you still think they are horrible or would you forgive their wrong?

Update:

I mean like a crime or sin. Out of guilt they repent. And maybe they believe in karma.

Update 2:

They didn't wrong u, they wronged someone else the same way you were wronged

Why would they make up for something they did to someone else?

Sin can be forgiven but not the crime with whom it soever is done with me or some one else. Sin can be due to ignorance but crime can't be a part of ignorance. Its a break of law of the land. And tyhe person so guuilty must be punished.

If they made it up to me, then it's ok.

    I guess...it's a virtue to forgive, right?

I would forgive them if they made it up to me.
